Identify your model

The Allokit model appears on the product, its packaging or the shipping documents. This manual covers the four models below.

Activate it with the magnet

Use a magnet to activate the Bluetooth tracking tags without opening the enclosure.

    Locate

    Find the magnetic sensor symbol on the Bluetooth tracking tag.

  2. 02

    Activate

    Place the magnet over the symbol and hold it there for 3 seconds.

  3. 03

    Verify

    The red LED flashes for 3 seconds to confirm that the Bluetooth tracking tag is on.

Turn off the Bluetooth tracking tag

Repeat the procedure by holding the magnet over the symbol for 3 seconds. The red LED remains on for 3 seconds.

Low battery

The red LED flashes twice every 10 seconds.

Keep the magnet away from magnetic-stripe cards, medical implants and any equipment that is sensitive to magnetic fields.

Install and use

The Bluetooth tracking tag broadcasts a Bluetooth identifier that a compatible Allokit gateway can detect. It does not calculate a GPS position by itself.

Choose the location
Choose a clean, dry and stable surface away from direct impacts. Keep the label readable and avoid fully enclosing the Bluetooth tracking tag in metal.
Test before mounting
Temporarily place the Bluetooth tracking tag in the chosen location and confirm that Allokit detects it before completing the installation.
Mount
Use only the mounting hardware supplied with your model or recommended by Allokit. Tighten it only enough to secure the Bluetooth tracking tag without deforming the enclosure.
Verify
After installing or moving the equipment, confirm that the Bluetooth tracking tag is stable, undamaged and detected in Allokit.
Detection
For reliable detection, keep the Bluetooth tracking tag away from large metal obstructions and within the area served by an Allokit gateway.
Modification
Do not paint or drill the enclosure, and do not add any part that could damage the product or cover its label.

Maintain it safely

Inspect the Bluetooth tracking tag periodically and after a significant impact. A damaged unit must not remain in service.

  • Do not crush, puncture, short-circuit or incinerate the Bluetooth tracking tag or its battery.
  • Stop using it if the enclosure is open, distorted, unusually hot or leaking.
  • Keep the product and any battery out of reach of children.
  • Do not open the enclosure or attempt to replace the battery.
  • Clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or pressure washing.

At the end of its useful life, take the Bluetooth tracking tag to an appropriate electronics or battery collection point. Do not dispose of it with household waste.
