Installed on a trailer or a generator, AK Track Solar reports its own position to Allokit. It can also detect tools fitted with compatible Bluetooth trackers in range and report those detections.

Questions about GPS tracking for your equipment
Does it need a gateway nearby?
The GPS tracker reports its position over its own cellular connection. It doesn't need to pass a Bluetooth gateway to send its location.
Is it only for equipment that stays outside?
No. The choice depends on the equipment and how it's used. GPS and cellular reception does need to be taken into account, particularly inside a building or a metal job box.
Is the position reported continuously?
Positions are sent according to the tracker's settings and the connectivity available. Allokit shows the last position received and the time it came in.
Can we keep the equipment's QR code?
Yes. The QR code opens the equipment's record, while the tracker feeds its location tracking. The information stays together in Allokit.
